Lauren is quite new to this whole world of owning a business and hand crafting flowers for others to admire. However, all throughout her life she has loved nature and growing plants. Growing up Lauren would love being outside gardening with her parents and picking wildflowers on hikes. She was in Girl Scouts for the majority of her life and during this time developed a love for nature and camping. The only thing that she did not like was how quickly fresh flowers would go from beautiful buds to dying blossoms once she picked them. This lead her to look for other types of flowers that could retain the beauty of a flower at full bloom but would not die within a week or two.

Over the last year and a half Lauren has dived into the world of silk, or faux, florals and has grown to love them! She began her journey when she decided to make all of her own wedding flowers. While this was a big task, she was very much up for the challenge. Prior to this she had crafted a variety of things all through her life, but never really thought of it as her destined path. After working on her wedding flowers, she eventually decided to apply for a position at a traditional florist shop in downtown Fort Worth. When she began she was a bit hesitant to create anything, but soon found out that she loved it! Especially handwork items such as boutonnieres, corsages, and bouquets. Ever since she began working here she dreamed of owning her own flower shop, but with a few twists. The biggest being that she wanted flowers that would never die. Setting along this path she has begun her journey online and is excited to grow more and more in her designing and with a wonderful community of florists.
